Buti Yoga is a dynamic asana practice fused with primal movement, tribal dance and deep core engagement. Buti Yoga utilizes the Spiral Structure Technique to sculpt and tone the deep abdominal muscles that stabilize and strengthen the body. Instead of linear movements, Buti favors movements that challenge the body along all planes of motion. Traditional yoga (not what we know of in the US today) involves many deep abdominal activations called kriyas blended with pranayama (controlled breathing techniques) and personal development. Buti Yoga organically evolved to serve the needs of modern women on a path to physical, emotional and spiritual enlightenment. The word Buti itself originates from an Indian Marathi word meaning "the cure to something hidden or kept secret.
