Slow Vinyasa Yoga
Slow Vinyasa (beginner’s welcome)

Build a stronger body while releasing tension and flow your way into a more blissful state! You will be taken through poses and transitions slowly and mindfully, as though you are participating in a slow, graceful dance. Our instructors will guide you in cultivating present moment awareness through anchoring into the breath and riding its wave throughout class. This class is suitable for beginners with little or no yoga experience; however, the most experienced yoga practitioner will also be challenged as sometimes less is more.
When we take time, our nervous systems relax, our minds slow down, our muscles become supple, and our breath deepens. Our inner chemistry shifts towards a biological balance, which one experiences as peace, tranquility and stress reduction. In this class, you will learn to honor and work with your individuality, experiencing for yourself the union of your mind and body.
Wear comfortable clothing that you can move in. Bring a mat, towel and water. The room is gently warmed and you may perspire as you warm up your body from the inside out.
